Description

Indulge in the buttery sweetness of these Easy Pecan Sticky Buns, a quick and delightful breakfast or brunch treat. Using Hawaiian rolls as a base, these sticky buns are smothered in a luscious caramel-pecan sauce. Perfect for special occasions or a comforting morning treat, this recipe brings bakery-quality results in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch cake pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, salt, and honey. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble slightly (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla bean paste, heavy cream, and chopped pecans until well combined. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  4. Pour the sauce evenly into the prepared cake pan, spreading it in a single layer. Place the Hawaiian rolls on top, cut-side down.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and the buns are lightly browned.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Carefully flip the buns onto a serving plate or cutting board. Serve warm and enjoy!
